The Toronto Maple Leafs had plenty to announce on Saturday ahead of their clash with the Pittsburgh Penguins, with information on Nylander, Domi and more.

Toronto comes into tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins with a revamped lineup after a rough 4-2 loss to the Washington Capitals Friday night.
Following the embarrassing defeat, the Leafs are getting some reinforcements as forward William Nylander is back in the lineup and winger Max Domi draws in as well after being listed as a healthy scratch in Washington.
On defence, Philippe Myers slots in after a teammate returned home for personal reasons; that teammate is Simon Benoit, who did not travel with the team, and is away from the team to attend a funeral.
Forward spots shifted as well, with Calle Jarnkrok and Matias Maccelli out of the lineup. That creates new looks for the Leafs' third and fourth lines and changes how head coach Craig Berube may try to spark a bounce-back.

The loss to Washington stings. The Leafs gave up a two-goal lead late in the third, including a tying goal and then an empty-netter to Tom Wilson.
That collapse amplified calls to refresh the energy and structure before taking on Pittsburgh tonight. With Nylander and Domi back, the offence gets a boost. Myers' presence helps stabilize the back end amid personnel changes.

Leafs plug holes, try for response against Penguins

The mix of returning vets and fresh bodies could provide the edge needed to snap back from Friday's setback. Tonight offers a chance for redemption, with brighter chemistry and tighter defence -- at least that's the hope of Craig Berube.
The Leafs have dropped to 10-11-3 after last night's regulation defeat. Here's hoping the team can get back to .500 tonight against the Pens.
