Kyle Dubas Says It's "Mind Boggling" People Don't Appreciate How Good Cody Ceci Is.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas made a couple of moves this summer to address their defense. One of those moves was acquiring Cody Ceci and signing him to a new contract. Ceci didn't exactly leave Ottawa looking like a top 2 defenseman, but that's been his role in Toronto so far. The 25 year old defenseman has received some criticism from fans and analysts and Dubas simply doesn't understand why. "He seems to be a very polarizing player...when everything underlying about him has been relatively solid, it seems to be every tiny thing that he does becomes a referendum on whether he's good or not, which is mind boggling to me."
