"The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off three straight wins against the Vancouver Canucks but have a bigger test on the table Wednesday when they play the Montreal Canadiens. With the Vancouver Canucks struggling, head coach Sheldon Keefe decided to play 11 forwards and 7 defenseman against the Canucks and not stress too much about new lines with Wayne Simmonds out and Joe Thornton not nearing a return. Thornton still isn't ready to play yet and with Montreal providing a bigger test, Keefe revealed some new lines on Tuesday. The Matthews line of course stays together however John Tavares and William Nylander will be joined by a new winger.Ilya Mikheyev found himself on the right wing of the second line while the third line will feature Alex Kerfoot, Jimmy Vesey and Pierre Engvall.
