"The Toronto Maple Leafs made a big move on Monday when they acquired defenseman Jake Muzzin from the Los Angeles Kings. Immediately after the trade both Darren Dreger and Pierre McGuire came out saying that despite being a lefty, Muzzin would play on the right side with some experience there. He's expected to play with Morgan Rielly on the top pairing, however someone who knows Muzzin very well, has never seen him play on the right side. Steve Simmons spoke with Darryl Sutter, former Kings coach, for an interview with the Toronto Sun. «He's never played the right side. Anybody who says he's played the right side isn't watching the games. He's played zero times on the right side in LA."
Should be interesting to see where he lines up at first practice.
