"While most of the Toronto media is focused on the rumoured Mike Babcock and Auston Matthews problems, the Leafs front office is making moves. According to multiple reports, the Leafs are set to sign a 26 year old Swedish center. SHL Star Par Lindholm is choosing to come to North America and sign on with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The signing follows the trend the Leafs had put together last offseason when they signed Calle Rosén, Andreas Borgman and Miro Aaltonen.He had 18 goals and 29 assists in 49 games this past season and 11 points in 16 playoff games. Of course like any older player coming over from Europe, it's a shot in the dark, but with Tyler Bozak, Tomas Plekanec and Dominic Moore all UFA's this summer, why not take a shot if he wants to play for the Leafs.
