"As reported earlier today, the Toronto Maple Leafs activated defenseman Cody Ceci from injured reserve today. Head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed that Ceci will draw into the lineup tonight. Ceci will be paired up with Calle Rosen according to Keefe as Rasmus Sandin will watch from the press box. The team also announced that they've sent defenseman Timothy Liljegren back to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. As Chris Johnston points out, Liljegren can't be recalled for the rest of the season unless it's an emergency call up because of injury.
