"The Toronto Maple Leafs made a statement on Wednesday with a big win against the Montreal Canadiens which was a probable preview of their first round playoff opponents. On Thursday morning general manager Kyle Dubas and the Leafs announced a roster move. Defenseman Timothy Liljegren has been sent back to the AHL to join the Toronto Marlies. The 21 year old has yet to see any NHL action this season and likely wasn't getting into the lineup anytime soon. With the trade deadline coming up though, it's an interest move.
