BREAKING Leafs Call Up Forward, Place Andersen On IR.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a couple of roster moves on Monday. While the Maple Leafs are preparing to face the Arizona Coyotes at ScotiaBank Arena tomorrow night, Dubas called up a forward. Dubas announced that the team has called up forward Pontus Aberg from the Marlies as a couple of players are dealing with the flu. The Leafs' GM also announced that the team has placed goalie Frederik Andersen on IR retroactive to last Monday. Since it's a retroactive IR move, Andersen would still be available for tomorrow if he can play. More to come.

John Tavares & Justin Holl (illness), Zach Hyman ("bumps/bruises"), and Kyle Clifford (funeral) will not be at practice. Andersen placed on IR retroactive to last Monday, but that doesn't affect his availability for tomorrow.
