BREAKING Leafs Acquire Forward From Columbus.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a trade on Friday night. While some people are hoping for Nick Foligno, Dubas hasn't worked that magic yet but he did hook up with the Columbus Blue Jackets for a trade. The Leafs have acquired forward Riley Nash from Columbus for a conditional seventh round pick in 2022. The move will give the Leafs some more long term injured reserve cap space to play with as Nash is currently injured. This could likely mean that Dubas is working on something bigger before Monday.

The seventh round pick Toronto sends to Columbus will become a sixth round pick if Riley Nash appears in 25 percent of the Maple Leafs' playoff games in 2021.
