"What a week it's been for Shea Weber and the Montreal Canadiens. Weber was placed on injured reserve recently things absolutely snowballed from a 7 day IR stint to his career being over thanks to a Tweet by NHL insider Nick Kypreos. When it was revealed that Weber was going to see a foot specialist, Kypreos took the opportunity to Tweet "Sources say Shea Weber injury has his season likely over and his future in question. Told injury is related to foot that was surgically repaired in 2018. While waiting for swelling to alleviate and further confirmation, surgery seemed unavoidable going into this week"Well that was far from the real story as the Canadiens would later announce that Weber would miss 4-6 weeks. That was way off as well as Weber was on the ice for practice today and now he'll likely even play tomorrow night. Kypreos took the opportunity to semi-apologize to Weber and his family after seeing Weber on the ice for practice.Here's his statement:"To Shea Weber and the Montreal Canadiens organization.
