Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand has gotten away with yet another dangerous play on Maple Leafs winger Tyler Bertuzzi.

Late in the first period of Game 4, Tyler Bertuzzi was attempting to drain the clock as he slowly skated the puck across the red line before dumping it in. Following the dump in, he was met by Marchand, who instead of throwing a normal hit, crouched down and took out Bertuzzi's legs. There was no call on the play and the two exchanged words as the period ended.

During the first intermission, Sportsnet's Kevin Bieksa talked about the play, saying that he was not a fan of those types of hits. Bieksa noted that he understands Marchand is a smaller player, but those types of hits can cause serious injuries because players can't protect themselves. It's something that Marchand has done throughout his career as a way to get under the skin of his opponents, but certainly a play that no one is a fan of.

As Sheldon Keefe said after Game 3, no one else in the series that can get away with the things Marchand does. When it comes to crossing the line and getting away with it, Keefe told the media that Marchand is "elite at it".

While the officiating isn't the reason that the Leafs are on the brink of elimination, allowing Marchand to get away with plays like this one aren't helping either - and it's not the first questionable play he's gotten away with in this series either.
