"The Toronto Maple Leafs hit the ice today for practice in anticipation of tomorrow night's game against the New York Islanders. With Mitch Marner out and Zach Hyman back in the top six, it seemed like Jason Spezza could get some ice time. However it looks like Spezza will enjoy more time in the press box. After the Leafs called up Nic Petan this morning it seems Spezza is on the outside looking again as he found himself one of the "extra forwards" at practice today.
