When the NHL announced that Fanatics would be taking over for Adidas as the NHL's new merch supplier, the move was met with heavy criticism. Well, as it turns out, time doesn't heal all wounds as people are more annoyed than ever by the move.

We have all come to know and love the quality of Adidas merchandise and now, unfortunately, we are very likely to see a significant drop off in quality moving forward. Fans have already begun sharing their Fanatics blunders on social media.
Cassie is upset that the center of the vector image was used in the Ottawa Senators' logo placement on this hat instead of the center of the circle. Rightfully so. This looks awful.
I know the Ducks aren't relevant yet, but come on...
Not sure when the Oakland A's joined the NHL ranks, but...
Any Detriot Lions fans out there?? Det-RIOT?? That's a pretty bad spelling error, even for a middle-schooler...
Just for the record, I'm completely okay with Boston Bruins merch flops...
Honestly, I still may be doing most of my NHL merch shopping at outlet stores if the quality of Fanatics merch doesn't drastically improve this year. It's almost like the NHL didn't even properly vet Fanatics before selecting them as the new official NHL merch supplier. Unserious league.
