It can be a pretty intimidating ordeal, making your debut with your new team. You want to make a good first impression, especially as a depth player, to avoid being pulled back out of the lineup. For Leafs winger Dryden Hunt, however, his debut was certainly pretty eventful and for many of the right reasons.

After previously drawing a penalty for the Buds earlier in the game, which led to a power play goal by Pontus Holmberg, Hunt made his presence felt physically with a hit along the boards on Coyotes forward Jack McBain, who took exception and chased Hunt down to have some words. Well, the verbal exchange didn't last too long before the gloves came off and a fight ensued.

Credit to Hunt for making himself very visible to the coaching staff in his first crack on the 4th line with the Leafs. You can never have too many guys on the roster who can dish it out and take it as well. For Hunt, he had no problem standing up for himself, which is usually a good sign that he'll also be willing to stand up for his teammates when needed. He also has 5 hits on the night so far.
