A New York Rangers fan probably didn't sleep much last night after turning a $2 bet into an absurd payday, hitting 16-for-16 on a 16-leg NHL parlay on the popular sportsbook, FanDuel.

A bettor who goes by the name of @NY_George61 on Twitter/X turned $2 into a little over $13,600, selecting all 16 NHL winners last night on the money line. The bettor correctly picked Toronto, Buffalo, Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Dallas, Florida, Colorado, Seattle, Anaheim, Boston, Winnipeg, Minnesota, Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles and Vegas to win last night.


Imagine being this man, watching Seattle and Anaheim securing overtime wins and then awaiting an 11pm start on the Philly/Vegas game to see if he would hit on the parlay. It must have been an emotional rollercoaster, especially with Philly carrying a 2-1 all the way through until the later stages of the 3rd period. When Shea Theodore scored with 33 seconds left in regulation to pull ahead 3-2 in the final half-minute of the game, I'd imagine that @NY_George61 was one happy camper.
