The Toronto Maple Leafs have been looking for defensive help over the last two seasons as they try and rebuild their blueline. Last year the team acquired Jake Muzzin and followed that up this offseason by landing Tyson Barrie and Cody Ceci. However according to one story, the Leafs could have landed a left handed defenseman from Philadelphia. According to Eklund of HockeyBuzz, there was a trade between the Leafs and Flyers which would have involved Shayne Gostisbehere that fell through. The Leafs would have sent Kasperi Kapanen to Philly in the deal. Kasperi's dad, Sami, played with the Flyers during his NHL career.Would you have liked to see this trade happen?
