Already without Scott Laughton, the Maple Leafs face more injury concerns as another forward left Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings.

The Leafs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period against the Red Wings on Saturday night, thanks to goals from two-thirds of their fourth line.
Both Calle Jarnkrok and Nicolas Roy found the back of the net, which is a refreshing change of pace for the Leafs.
Unfortunately, the third member of that line, Steven Lorentz, was unable to finish the game.

Steven Lorentz Leaves Game With Injury

The former seventh-round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes left midway through the first period after taking a heavy hit from Red Wings defenseman Ben Chiarot just outside the Leafs' blueline.
Lorentz was able to complete the play and dump the puck in, but looked a little shaken up as he headed towards the bench before heading down the tunnel to the dressing room.
The 29-year-old is in the first year of the three year extension he signed in the summer to remain with his favourite team growing up and is coming off of a 8-goal, 19-point campaign last year.
Already without Scott Laughton as he deals with a lower-body injury that is expected to keep him out another few weeks, the hope is that Lorentz will be able to avoid a serious injury as a result of the hit he took on Saturday.
Should he miss more than the rest of Saturday's game, however, the Leafs will be down two members of their original fourth line.
One bit of good that could come from a tough situation like this one, it could open the door for rookie Easton Cowan to make his NHL debut.
