Sheldon Keefe confirmed this morning that Jake Muzzin will be out again tonight as the Leafs take on the Florida Panthers. It comes as a bit of a surprise given the fact that Muzzin joined the team on the road trip. Typically when a player joins the team on a road trip after missing time with an injury, that's a pretty good sign they're going to return.

It's not a bad thing in this case though as the video of Muzzin in practice the earlier this week was cringeworthy to watch. He appeared to be in a lot of pain after a simple drill. With a week left in the season, maybe squeeze him into one game at the end but there is no need to rush him.
In other news, Keefe also confirmed that Rasmus Sandin will return to full practice when the Leafs return home Sunday. Sandin had been skating by himself the past couple weeks since injuring his knee in Nashville March 19th. Expect him to get into a game or two next week before the season wraps up and hopefully push Holl out of the lineup and into the press box for good.
