Insider reveals reported reason for Corey Perry's dismissal in Chicago

With the Chicago Blackhawks terminating Corey Perry's contract due to "unacceptable conduct", that left many wondering what exactly he could have done to deserve such a rash punishment. Factoring in that Perry is a coveted veteran that many teams look for, everything about his situation became more and more precarious by the day.
Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson wanted to dispel one of the more nasty rumours that was circulating in recent days. At the end of his press conference yesterday, he added:
"Corey Perry has engaged in conduct that is unacceptable, and in violation of both the terms of his Standard Player's Contract and the Blackhawks' internal policies intended to promote professional and safe work environments.
I do want to be very clear on this one point: This does not involve any players or their families, and anything that suggests otherwise, or anyone that suggests otherwise, is wildly inaccurate, and frankly, it's disgusting. This has been a tough situation."

As that was laid to rest yesterday, more information has surfaced since then. New allegations from Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli suggested that alcohol might have been involved.
"According to sources, an alcohol-fueled incident involving Perry was alleged to have occurred during an event that included corporate partners and team employees in attendance. It remains unclear what allegedly took place, who witnessed it, and who reported it to the team."
Now-former teammate Nick Foligno also chimed in about the whole situation, how everything has unfolded, and how they still care for Perry's well-being:
"Kyle just told us that they'd be terminating his contract and there's a standard in this room, and we all adhere to it and they believe strongly in making sure that's understood by all of us. It's a hard day and nobody wants to hear that news.
