The Toronto Maple Leafs played on home ice Tuesday night for the first time since the passing of the legendary Johnny Bower.The team came out during warm ups all wearing Bower's #1 on their jerseys skating under Bower's banner which hung just a bit lower on Tuesday night out of respect for the legend. Bower's extended family and some former teammates including Dave Keon, George Armstrong and Ron Ellis were all in attendance and surrounded together.Pictures of Bower played over the arena before a moment of silence for the fan favourite. The team then played an emotional tribute video narrated by Maple Leafs play by play voice Joe Bowen which documented his decades worth of work. After the ceremony had ended, as per the Bower families request, the crowd sang O Canada with the anthem being played on an organ. You can watch the ceremony in the video below:
