Several Members of the Maple Leafs Showing Signs of Life During Off-Season

The off-season is important for players to unwind before the gruelling task of an 82-game season and some of Maple Leafs are taking fulll advantage of that time.
A full NHL season is a taxing and gruelling grind for all involved, primarily those in contention for the playoffs. On top of the 82 regular season games, the additional slate of games during the post-season where the pressure rises adds to the difficulties that players go through, mentally and physically.
Nevertheless, they wouldn't have it any other way, and if you ask any of them, they would rather be playing meaningful games in the months of May and June than be sitting at home or playing golf in April.
However, when all is said and done, it's nice to see the players taking full advantage of their few months off in the summer, enjoying themselves and living life to it's fullest, whether it's through attending concerts, on the golf course, or at different sporting events.
In recent weeks, we've seen several members of the Toronto Maple Leafs taking part in all of the above with
Steven Lorentz attending IndyCar in Toronto,
Bobby McMann and
Joseph Woll watching Coldplay in concert, and
Auston Matthews golfing with new Sharks executive Joe Thornton.
With IndyCar taking place in Toronto this weekend, also known as the Grand Prix of Toronto, Lorentz stopped by, dressed in the right attire, and even drove a few laps. He also attended an NHLPA golf event and a Leafs camp for kids.
McMann and Woll reunited with former Leafs defenseman
Conor Timmins at the Coldplay concert that took place in Toronto recently. Whereas the Leafs captain was enjoying himself on the golf course with Thornton and fellow NHLer
Clayton Keller.
With a month and a half left until training camp, the members of the Maple Leafs have a little bit of time to unwind and relax before having to get ready for the 2025-26 season.
