Despite giving up the game-winning goal to Max Domi, Senators head coach Travis Green made some surprisingly positive remarks on the Maple Leafs forward.

Looking for an offensive spark, Berube reunited Domi with John Tavares and William Nylander in the third period, dropping Pontus Holmberg down to the third line in his place, and in overtime, the move paid off with Domi scoring just over 3 minutes into the extra frame to give the Leafs a 2-0 series lead.
Following the heartbreaking defeat, Senators head coach Travis Green was asked about his memories of Max hanging around the Leafs' dressing room as as a kid. Green, who was a member of the Leafs st the time, offered comments of praise, while also throwing in a playful dig at the Leafs forward.
"Energetic guy. You could tell he was going to be a good hockey player from a young age. I know his dad well. I always like seeing him have success, but obviously, not tonight."
While Green was pleased with how his team played on Tuesday night, he can't be happy about the lapse in defensive structure that allowed Domi to score in a two-on-four rush, or the reckless pass that led to the goal just inside the Leafs' blueline.
As the series shifts to Ottawa for Game 3 on Thursday, Green will hope his team can correct those little mistakes, while Leafs Nation hopes that Domi will string together a few games of increased offensive production to give the Leafs the best chance to escape the first round as early as possible.
