Ridly Greig Responds to Being Declared Public Enemy Number One by Leafs Fans and Media

In February of last year Ridly Greig put himself at the top of the list of the Leafs' enemies when he took a slapshot into the Leafs' empty net, prompting to a response that led to a five-game suspension for Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly.

Following the first two playoff games of his career, Greig has picked up right where he left off, which began with a high cross-check on John Tavares early in Game 1, before colliding with Anthony Stolarz late in the third period of the Leafs' blowout win.

Greig also had his stick snapped in half by Leafs Captain Auston Matthews during that game after it fell into the Leafs' bench.

In Game 2, Greig added to his resume, getting into a the kitchen of Anthony Stolarz, which led to Stolarz taking matters into his own hands.

With the series shifting to Ottawa for Game 3, Greig was asked about being portrayed as public enemy number one by Leafs Nation and the Toronto media.

Greig's response is similar to the one from Senators Captain Brady Tkachuk when he was asked about the 'Brady Sucks' chants that echoed through Scotiabank Arena in Game 1.

Unfortunately for Greig and the Senators, there is expected to be a fairly large contingent of Leafs fans in attendance on Thursday night in Ottawa, meaning they could be subject to more of a hostile environment than expected on their own home ice.
