Popular TSN reporter Gord Miller slams former Maple Leafs GM over treatment of Anthony Duclair

Last night, Duclair posted a photo on his personal Instagram account with a sad emoji, showcasing all of the hair he was forced to cut off by Lou Lamoriello, which has now gone viral on "X".

Duclair signed a 4-year deal with the New York Islanders this summer that will carry a cap hit of $3.5M per season. Based on his post on Instagram, Duclair is about to head to Long Island to access the Islanders' facilities there as he begins preparing for training camp.

Unfortunately, due to Lou Lamoriello's outdated and archaic team rules, players cannot have long hair or beards during the season. The rule is something that Lamoriello believes sets a standard that all players will appear professional and held to the same standard regardless if they are a first-line player or a fourth-line player.

TSN play-by-play commentator Gord Miller saw the post and had quite the response to Lamoriello's inappropriate demands of his players.

Since his response, Miller has been taking some heat - as you can see below.

The heat that Miller is taking for calling out an outdated made-up rule is, quite frankly, uncalled for. Fans want players in the NHL to show more of their personalities. That's a part of how you grow the game. The NHL is missing the mark here by allowing Lamoriello to continue to operate this way.
