Matthew Tkachuk has reportedly discussed injuries to Leafs players with his brother Brady Tkachuk ahead of Game 1 of Leafs-Panthers series.

The Leafs and Panthers will kick off their second round series on Monday night at 8:00pm ET, but before then Matthew Tkachuk will be sure to share any inside information that he is able to come across with his teammates about targeting injured players on the Leafs' roster.
The elder Tkachuk brother made an appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show' on Friday where he not only took a shot at the Leafs, but revealed he plans to take advantage of a very unique opportunity.
Although the Leafs dispatched of the Senators in six games, it may yield some important information as Tkachuk revealed that he plans to discuss any potential injuries the Leafs are dealing with ahead of the series with his brother and Sens Captain Brady Tkachuk.
"I'll give [Brady] a call and ask him what he saw throughout the series, little things," Matthew said. "I'll ask a lot about individuals, like, what you can exploit with some guys, what guys maybe get a little too riled up, guys you can get off their game, what guys are looking like they're playing through stuff or look a little injured. It's all the little stuff I'll ask him. It's playoffs. Every advantage you can get, and it's nice having my brother that just played them, so he'll give me the honest truth."

Some may call the tactic unfair, or potentially even tampering, but all is fair in love and war, which is exactly what the playoffs are. Thankfully, the Leafs were able to get an extra couple of days off to rest and heal some of the bumps and bruises suffered during the 'Battle of Ontario', but you can be sure that Tkachuk will be sharing any and all intel with his teammates ahead of Game 1 on Monday night.
