After falling behind the Panthers by 3 goals, Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner was seen blowing up and shouting profanities at his teammates in what could be his final game as a Leaf in Game 7.
Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner doesn't show a lot of emotion, especially in front of the camera and in his media interviews. However, during the 2nd period of Game 7 between the Leafs and Panthers, Marner showed plenty of emotion when addressing his teammates on the bench during a TV timeout.
Moments after the Leafs surrendered their 3rd goal of the 2nd period, giving up a 3-0 lead to the Panthers in an elimination game, Marner skated past his bench and angrily shouted at his teammates, using some colourful language.
The Leafs had an opportunity to acquire Mikko Rantanen from the Carolina Hurricanes at the trade deadline, but the deal would have required Marner to waive his no-movement clause, which he outright refused to do.
