Max Domi shows his goofy side, tries to embarrass Tyler Bertuzzi in post birthday win video

Following a huge come-from-behind win in Colorado last night, during which Tyler Bertuzzi scored a hat trick against the Avalanche to put the Leafs up 4-3 with 2:51 to go in regulation, the Leafs boarded a flight back to Toronto. On the way to the plane, Domi recorded a quick video of himself singing happy birthday to Bertuzzi, and the results were both heartwarming and hilarious.

Bertuzzi and Domi were originally thought to be solid additions to the Leafs last summer during free agency, but after some very slow starts for both players, there was some doubt creeping in about whether or not signing one or both was the right call. However, with how things have gone for both players over the most recent stretch of games, they both appear to be heating up at just the right time.

Domi and Bertuzzi were never really brought in to be regular season guys anyway. We know why they were brought in by Leafs GM Brad Treliving. The idea was always that these two were brought in to be the antagonists that the Leafs have lacked in the playoffs. As it turns out, they're ramping up at just the right time. Now, let's hope they can both maintain it down the stretch and into the postseason.
