The Maple Leafs are expected to be without the services of yet another player on Tuesday night as the injury bug continues to ravage the team.

In a span of a week, the Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt with some injuries to key players like Chris Tanev, Morgan Rielly, and William Nylander. They had subsequently posted a 1-2-0 record in that span.
Now, it looks like we can add one more player to that list in Calle Jarnkrok, who was absent from today's practice with what is being deemed a lower-body injury.
The only remaining forward left on the roster is Sammy Blais, who could be in line to make his Leafs debut on Tuesday night should Jarnkrok have to miss out.
The lines remained the same after the re-shuffle from Saturday night. William Nylander was seen rotating with Bobby McMann on the top line as he continues to recover from his lower-body injury.
With the lines remaining relatively intact, the 6'2, 200 pound Blais took over Jarnkrok's spot on the fourth line with Steven Lorentz and Max Domi, giving the Leafs another big body in the lineup.
The former St. Louis Blue and New York Ranger has posted 27 goals and 71 points in 257 games across 7 seasons. However, he has thrown his body around to the tune of 835 hits, including 432 over his last 2 seasons.
If Nylander is able to return for tomorrow's game, the Leafs wouldn't have to use Blais, as he would slot back onto the top line, and players like Nicholas Robertson or Bobby McMann would shuffle down in the lineup.
Berube mentioned after Saturday's game that he was hopeful for Nylander's return, however, with his limited practice session, it seems like there is at least a possibility that he could sit yet again.
With Jarnkrok questionable at best for tomorrow's contest, the lineup shuffle is expected to continue with Blais' debut on tap ahead of yet another back-to-back set.
