While Woll won't be between the pipes any time soon, he did take the opportunity, along with Anthony Stolarz and Cayden Primeau, to debut a trio of new masks.
Anthony Stolarz Ditches Shine and Chrome
Since joining the Leafs, Stolarz has donned a
silver and blue metallic mask. On Monday, however, Stolarz ditched the shine of the silver and blue for a more traditional, blue, black and white colour scheme and traditional finish.
Joseph Woll Changes Things Up Amid Return
Despite only wearing it for one season, Woll decided to make a change upon his return. The former third-round pick has ditched the Wolf tribute for a more artistic mask in the Leafs' colours.
Cayden Primeau Can't Escape Habs With New Design
In his short time with the Leafs, since being claimed off waivers at the beginning of the season, Primeau had been wearing a very generic mask that featured a giant Maple Leafs logo on the top of it.
The long-time Habs goaltender still features the giant logo on the top of his helmet, but the rest is painted with blue and white stripes, similar to the Montreal Canadiens jerseys (minus the red, of course).
While the photos don't do them justice, from afar, the new masks the trio debuted on Monday look fantastic, and once we get close-ups of each of them, we will be able to appreciate the finer details better.
