Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly and his wife, Canadian Olympian Tessa Virtue, have shared a touching new Instagram post with fans in celebration of a heartwarming moment.
Earlier this year, Rielly and Virtue captured the hearts of Leafs Nation when Virtue showed off her adorable baby bump, signaling that their lives were about to change forever.
On Friday, Virtue shared a beautiful set of "after" photos, showing off their new bundle of joy -- a baby boy, named McCormick Rielly.
It's been a big week for the Maple Leafs, who welcomed a new captain in Auston Matthews on Wednesday, with Rielly present to support both Matthews and former captain, John Tavares. Now, just two days later, Rielly's family grew a little bit bigger.
Rielly had a productive season with the Maple Leafs in 2023-24, producing 7 goals and 51 assists, totalling 58 points in 72 games, adding 3 points in 7 playoff games against Boston.
