The Maple Leafs are making a significant change to their forward group as they look to take a 3-0 series lead over the Ottawa Senators.

With a day off on Wednesday, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was asked if he would run the same lineup that put the Leafs ahead 2-0 in the series when it shifts to Ottawa on Thursday night. Berube was fairly cryptic about potential changes he may or may not have been considering, noting that he was thinking things over.
Ahead of Thursday's morning skate, Leafs reporter Nick Alberga reported that there was a very good possibility that Max Pacioretty would be making his playoff debut for the Leafs.
That was confirmed at the Leafs' morning skate as Pacioretty took line rushes on the third line with Max Domi and Bobby McMann, indicating he would be drawing in for Nicholas Robertson.
The rest of the forward group remains unchanged, as does the blueline.
The former Montreal Canadiens captain tweaked something at practice following the 4-Nations break and has not played since February 8th, which was 75 days ago.
In goal, it will be Anthony Stolarz getting his third straight start for the Leafs in an attempt to gain a commanding 3-0 series lead. The Stanley Cup Champion has been on fire since the end of the regular season, winning his last 10 starts, and giving up three or more goals just twice in that span, while also posting 3 shutouts.
Although the series has shifted to Ottawa, the Leafs are hopeful they will have a large contingent of their own fans in the building, despite the Senators best efforts to keep them out.
