With a day off on Wednesday, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was asked if he would run the same lineup that put the Leafs ahead 2-0 in the series when it shifts to Ottawa on Thursday night. Berube was fairly cryptic about potential changes he may or may not have been considering, noting that he was thinking things over.
That was confirmed at the Leafs' morning skate as Pacioretty took line rushes on the third line with Max Domi and Bobby McMann, indicating he would be drawing in for Nicholas Robertson.
The rest of the forward group remains unchanged, as does the blueline.
In goal, it will be Anthony Stolarz getting his third straight start for the Leafs in an attempt to gain a commanding 3-0 series lead. The Stanley Cup Champion has been on fire since the end of the regular season, winning his last 10 starts, and giving up three or more goals just twice in that span, while also posting 3 shutouts.
Although the series has shifted to Ottawa, the Leafs are hopeful they will have a large contingent of their own fans in the building, despite the Senators best efforts to keep them out.
