Ahead of the Rookie Showcase this weekend, Leafs prospect Landon Sim detailed what he believes the organization is lacking and how one aspect of his game can help.

The Leafs were able to 'spread the wealth' throughout their forward group this off-season, adding a trio of players to provide plenty of depth for head coach Craig Berube to juggle around.
Matias Maccelli doesn't exactly fit the mold of Berube-style hockey, but adds an element the Leafs were lacking without Mitch Marner. Nicolas Roy and Dakota Joshua, however, bring substantial size, physicality, and the ability to contribute offensively at times.
Joshua in particular is looking forward to being an agitator for the team that initially drafted him back in 2014 - something Leafs prospect Landon Sim is also looking to do.
Drafted by the Blues in 2022, Sim became a free agent earlier this year before joining the Leafs organization on a one-year AHL deal.
Participating in the Rookie Showcase Tournament this weekend, Sim met with reporters on Friday to discuss his short time and connections to the organization.
In doing so, Sim identified an area within the organization that he can fill -- and it's something that he was known for during his time with the London Knights.
"I think the game I play is a game that the Leafs organization needs a little bit. I like playing hard and I like being annoying to play against."

Amassing 105 penalty minutes last season for the Knights, the 5'11, 185-pound forward isn't the biggest player, but has proven he won't shy away from the physicality and grinding expected by Berube.
Having played some pre-season games under Berube with the St. Louis Blues, the 21-year-old knows what 'Chief' expects and is hopeful to turn his AHL deal into an NHL one in short order.
For now though, Sim will look to turn in a standout performance this weekend in Montreal before heading to training camp next week. He has already dropped the gloves once and was noticeable during a 4-3 loss to Ottawa on Saturday.
