Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving continues to try to add to the Leafs' roster, but TSN's Chris Johnston has revealed some news that fans may not want to hear.

Brad Treliving and the Toronto Maple Leafs have been relatively quiet since July, aside from ending a lengthy stalemate on Tuesday with restricted free agent goaltender Dennis Hildeby.
Given the fact that the Leafs currently have $1.92M in cap space and a roster of 14 forwards, 7 defensemen and two goaltenders, it isn't overly surprising that despite always being engaged in talks, Treliving has yet to make another move with training camp less than a month away.

Maple Leafs Still Looking Into Depth Moves

Despite having a full roster and attempting to move off of the contracts of Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf -- to no avail -- Leafs Nation shouldn't be waiting around for another significant addition according to TSN's Chris Johnston, who was on TSN's 'First Up' on Tuesday morning.
"I think the Leafs are nibbling around a lot of different players to see what makes sense. We've seen them bring guys in on PTOs in the past. Most of the off-season work is done for the Leafs at this point. They are still open to seeing if there are fits out there that make sense on both sides."
As we saw last season, the Leafs brought in Max Pacioretty and Steven Lorentz on PTOs before signing both to one-year deals.
Given Treliving's history and Johnston's thoughts, it is more than likely the Leafs will take the same approach this season, especially if they can free up a roster spot or two.
That means, unless he comes at a significant discount, Jack Roslovic will not be joining the Leafs to help fill some of the void in their top-six.
