After being honoured with the game puck following his first shutout, Leafs goaltender Dennis Hildeby reveals what he plans on doing with the piece of memorabilia.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs down two starting goaltenders, Dennis Hildeby was given a glorious opportunity to get his foot in the door, and he delivered with his first career shutout against the Atlantic Division leading Tampa Bay Lightning.
After allowing only 1 goal on 34 shots in their last game on Saturday, Hildeby improved on the effort by shutting out the high-powered Lightning offense by turning aside all 29 shots thrown his way.
For his efforts he received the game puck for achieving the monumental feat, and when asked what he planned on doing with the piece of memorabilia, Hildeby said he plans on giving it to his father, who is avid collector.
With Anthony Stolarz sidelined for the foreseeable future and Joseph Woll out for at least one week, Hildeby's services are going to be needed, and fortunately the Swedish netminder is not afraid of the moment, all the while enjoying every second of being in the NHL.
I'm just trying to enjoy it. I mean, it's easier said than done, but at the end of the day, it's like what I've been dreaming of since I started playing hockey. So you just got to remind yourself of that and have a lot of fun in the meanwhile and just compete.

Before Monday's contest, Hildeby had appeared in as many games in relief of another starter as he's had actual starts. Tonight's game marked his 9th appearance of the season and 5th start, and it's a trend that should continue in his favour, especially if he can keep up the strong performances in between the pipes.
After having spent parts of the last 4 seasons in the minors with the Toronto Marlies, the towering Swede, has finally been given the green light to soar with the Maple Leafs, and he's proving he deserves the opportunity with some amazing performances.
The shutout improved his save percentage to a scintillating .936 on the season and he'll look to take his 2-2-2 record into his next presumed start, which should come on Thursday night when the Leafs host the San Jose Sharks.
