Lorentz gets called for tripping

Officials left the Maple Leafs perplexed following a blatant dive from Senators forward Tim Stutzle resulting in a penalty on Leafs forward Steven Lorentz.

Through 2 periods of Game 3 between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ottawa Senators, we already have another very controversial moment that should receive plenty of coverage.
Near the end of the second period, Ottawa's Tim Stutzle picked up a loose puck in the Leafs' zone and attempted to avoid a big hit from Steven Lorentz by jumping out of the way.
The former first-round pick exaggerated the contact with Lorentz, flailing his arms and legs in the air, completely fooling the officials, resulting in a penalty on Lorentz.
Having the reputation of a diver across the league, Stutzle has come under fire from former players for making a mockery of the game at times, something Lorentz tried to explain to the officials after the whistle.
"He f****** jumped out of the way."
The Leafs escaped the penalty without giving up a shot, and ultimately gained some momentum at the end of the period.
The panel during the second intermission also thought Stutzle sold the call and you can be sure there will be questions about it following the game.
Embellishment has no place in the game, let alone in the playoffs. It's embarrassing for the player, his team, and the sport. It wouldn't shock me to see the Sens receive a warning about Stutzle potentially repeating this behaviour during the remainder of this series.
