After a sub-par performance on Thursday, Joseph Woll bounced back on Sunday for the Leafs, but credited his teammates for his success.

On Thursday, we saw Joseph Woll post an atrocious .857 save percentage and give the Sharks a freebie with a terrible decision while playing the puck, which led to head coach Craig Berube singling him out in the loss.
On Sunday, Woll stopped 29 of 31 shots against the Anaheim Ducks to record his 25th win of the season. While the former third-round pick made saves when the Leafs needed him to, he credited the guys in front of him for the improvements and commitment made to blocking shots.
"I've definitely noticed just a heightened discipline and unselfishness of the defenceman to do that - and the forwards.

That's the kind of stuff that wins championships, putting the team first. You have guys coming off the ice that are bruised, banged up from blocking shots, and that's what it takes. I appreciate that more than my words can say, right?

Like, they have a lot less equipment, and they're putting their body on the line for the team and for me and for (Anthony Stolarz), so it's pretty awesome."

The Leafs blocked 22 shots on Sunday night, with five from newcomer Brandon Carlo and four from each of Chris Tanev and Jake McCabe.
After one of their best games of the season on Saturday against the LA Kings where they blocked 14 shots, the Leafs carried over that mentality into Sunday to ensure the same issues that cost them the win in Woll's start on Thursday didn't cost them a precious 2 points Sunday.
With a three-point lead at the top of the Atlantic, the Leafs will now have a few days off to rest those bumps and bruises before a huge divisional game Wednesday against the Florida Panthers.
