Former Leafs' enforcer Jay Rosehill is ready for the Mitch Marner discourse to be over, but before it is, he laid into the former Leafs star one final time.

Once Mitch Marner was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights, many believed that was the end of the drama between he and Leafs Nation.
For weeks, it seemed like it was, until the 28-year-old turned last week's Hockey Canada Olympic orientation camp into a media tour, trying to save face in Toronto, which backfired miserably.
Those comments led to severe backlash from fans and forced Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving to publicly address Marner's security concerns, which he essentially debunked.

Jay Rosehill Tees Off on Mitch Marner One Last Time Before Putting the Marner Discourse to Bed

Marner's comments have once again dominated much of the hockey talk this past week as teams get set for training camp, leading to former Leafs enforcer Jay Rosehill sounding off and calling out Marner's selfishness and questioning the validity of his claims about a safety and security risk.
"In my mind, this is what happened. Months and months after he leaves the Toronto Maple Leafs, he tracks down Leafs' media to have a sit down so he can tell everyone how outrageously he overreacted to a comment made online that may or may not have existed in order to gain sympathy from Leafs fans, many of whom feel like he has left them high and dry. How does he constantly put his foot in his mouth? I usually know where he is coming from... turning around screaming at the bench and trying to have a whole bunch of intensity that you're usually lacking during the playoffs -- I get what he's trying to do, but his hair is bone dry at the end of the playoffs. The s*** he always does, he just can't help himself."
Rosehill went on to say that putting someone's address online is in no way acceptable, but questioned if it really happened, given that no one was able to locate the original post, something that was pointed out by @mrgrozz on 'X'.
Hopefully, with training camp kicking off in a couple of weeks and rookie camps beginning next week, this is the last we have to discuss this whole thing and we can all move on to a new era of Leafs hockey.
