Despite being ahead 2-0 in the Battle of Ontario, Leafs head coach Craig Berube hinted that we may see some changes to the lineup for Game 3 on Thursday.

Ahead of Game 2, Craig Berube surprised many with a fairly significant lineup change, swapping Max Domi and Pontus Holmberg, placing Domi on the 3rd line.
While Holmberg played well alongside John Tavares and William Nylander, an offensive spark was needed, prompting Berube to swap the two forwards again in the third period on Tuesday night.
The move ultimately paid off as Berube was able to continue to play the struggling Nicholas Robertson and Bobby McMann with a more responsible centre, while giving Domi an offensive opportunity, which he cashed in on less than four minutes into overtime.
On Wednesday, we saw the Leafs skip practice, but it didn't stop Berube from meeting with the media. He was asked about running the same lineup for Game 3 without last change.
"Probably. We'll see. Still thinking about things. I haven't made my mind up yet on that."
In mentioning the possibility of potential lineup changes, he also touched on losing the last change and how that would affect his deployment of his lines and defensive pairs.
As the Leafs look to take a stranglehold on the Battle of Ontario with Game 3 on Thursday night, the Senators will look to take advantage of that last change and try to keep the likes of Tim Stutzle, Brady Tkachuk and other stars away from Chris Tanev and Jake McCabe as much as possible.
