The Leafs and Senators met for an always riveting Battle of Ontario on Saturday night in Ottawa. If you thought Tim Stutzle's diving antics were bad, here's one that may have flown under the radar from a couple of seasons back in a meeting between the Central Division's Dallas Stars and the St. Louis Blues.

Stars defenseman Esa Lindell and Blues defender Robert Bortuzzo were awaiting a loose puck in the corner when Bortuzzo made contact with Lindell, who went down like he had just been hit by a truck. When he got back to his feet, he coasted back towards Bortuzzo again and when contact was made, once again he went down like a ton of bricks, ending up in Bortuzzo getting the gate for a cross check and Lindell going for embellishment.
How did Bortuzzo celebrate? By giving Lindell a real shot after the whistle.
NHL players tend to despise any player who actively looks for an opportunity to dive to draw a penalty. I guess Bortuzzo was looking at it like "if I'm going to the box, I may as earn it".
