The wife of Carey Price seems to confirm the worst about his playing future
Last week, the news came out that Carey Price would not play in 2022-23, which sparked questions about his NHL future. The common belief, even among Habs fans at this point, is that Price's playing career is over. We haven't received official confirmation one way or the other, but even many pundits are convinced that Price may have played his last NHL game.
This week, Carey Price's wife Angela took to social media and asked her followers on Instagram if they had any questions they'd like to ask. Naturally, she was asked about Carey's status and whether or not he would be back at any point in the future.
Mrs' Price's response did not do much to quell the concern over her husband's playing future.
She did, however, confirm that Price plans to spend the entire year in Montreal regardless of whether or not he plays. Is there still a chance he could return? It's possible, though not probable.
She also confirmed that when Price's career is officially over, the family will be relocating to Kelowna, BC. So, if and when we get word on Price's Montreal home hitting the market, we'll know that his playing days are over.
