Rasmus Sandin makes funny remark about how tough the past few games have been for him
Since returning from a neck injury that he suffered prior to the Leafs' Christmas break, Rasmus Sandin has had a tough go the past few games. However, it's not necessarily because of his play. He has had to leave multiple games since returning because he just can't catch a break when it comes to needing stitches.
When asked about tonight's game against Nashville, Sandin gave quite the response about what he hopes to accomplish tonight.
"If I can get out of tonight with no stitches in my face, it's been a tough past few games for my facethat would be nice."
Sandin has given Leafs Nation a scare when he exited the last few games as many were concerned that perhaps his neck injury had re-appeared, but thankfully (and still unfortunately) for him, he just needed some minor repairs, which included several stitches from collisions and high-sticks.
