NHL official cracked in the face during spirited fight
For 27-year-old Brandon Baddock, the odds of making the Minnesota Wild out of training camp are probably pretty slim, but that won't stop him from trying. Baddock has just 1 NHL game under his belt, played with the Montreal Canadiens last season. Aside from that game, he's been a career AHL/ECHLer.
Baddock laid the boom on Stars star forward Roope Hintz in the first period of last night's preseason game, leading to a scrap with Stars hopeful Jerad Rosburg, who did his best to hold his own. He would ultimately be saved by the officials stepping in - one of whom took a pretty clean punch to the face by Baddock.Latest 10 stories
