Maple Leafs collaborate with a pro wrestler on an exclusive, limited edition shirt
The Toronto Maple Leafs have one of the most loyal fan bases in all of professional sports. It's no secret that some celebrities are huge fans of the team, such as Justin Bieber, Will Arnett and Mike Myers, just to name a few. There is one celebrity who loves the team just as much as the names I've mentioned and that person is WWE Hall of Famer and former World Heavyweight Champion, Edge (Adam Copeland).
Edge, a native of Orangeville, Ontario, is a die-hard Leafs fan and has a bevy of Maple Leafs memorabilia in his house. He's made appearances on Sportsnet over the years talking about his love for the Leafs, and he's even had a battle with "professional Leafs fan" Steve Dangle for Maple Leafs fan supremacy.
On August 22nd, 2022, the WWE will be in Toronto for Monday Night RAW, live from Scotiabank Arena for the first time in three years. The best part is that Edge and the Toronto Maple Leafs have collaborated to create a shirt that will only be available at the arena during the event.
The shirt will be on sale for one night only and you can bet many Leafs fans at the show will be rocking this shirt. And who knows, maybe Kyle Dubas will be in attendance, since he's also a massive pro wrestling fan. We might even see some Leafs players present during the live broadcast.
