Keefe shuffles bottom six ahead of tilt with Islanders tonight
After a day off on Sunday, the Leafs took to the ice this morning for their game-day skate ahead of their game with the Islanders tonight. The top two lines remained intact while Sheldon Keefe decided to shuffle his third and fourth lines after a pair of roster moves yesterday.
Returning to the lineup is Pontus Holmberg, who was sent down last week to get some game action after missing a week with the flu. He returns to center Zach Aston-Reese and fellow Marlie call-up Bobby McMann. Holmberg's return also gave Keefe the opportunity to move Alexander Kerfoot off the fourth line and to the left wing next to David Kampf and Pierre Engvall.
On the back end, Timothy Liljegren will get his fourth consecutive game alongside Morgan Rielly, while Conor Timmins will pair up with Rasmus Sandin and the Mark Giordano and Justin Holl combination remains together.
