Ilya Samsonov picks up sweet new luxury ride in Toronto
Playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs can be a difficult job. Playing goalie for the team, even more so. The fanbase at the centre of the hockey universe is passionate when the team is winning, but their fury is unmatched when the team isn't doing well. It can make Toronto a difficult place to play.
Having said that, there are definitely some perks to the job as well. No team in the league sells like the Leafs. For the players, that means the biggest and best endorsements are made available to them. Having a Maple Leaf as a customer is a massive status symbol for any business in Canada. Often, all it takes is a few pictures and a thumbs up!
Leafs goaltender Ilya Samsonov has looked great in his first few games with the Leafs. Now he'll be looking great on his way to the rink as well. The 25-year-old from Magnitogorsk was photographed picking up a gorgeous new Porsche Cayenne GTS SUV from Oakville Porsche. The pictures were posted by Photographer Louis Scarfone. With his recent knee injury, it's good to know Samsonov will be riding in style while he recovers.
