Don Sweeney comments on controversial contract signing
Following the entry-level contract signing of Mitchell Miller and all of the public criticism coming from the signing, the Boston Bruins' GM, Don Sweeney, has commented on the situation.
Despite claiming the decision to sign Miller wasn't easy, Sweeney didn't exactly smooth over the situation either.
The signing of Miller, with his history of bullying that resulted in an assault charge, is certainly controversial. The victim's family has even spoken out about not receiving an apology. This all makes Sweeney's statements seem contradictory and ingenuine.
