The Senators have sent out an official statement regarding some of the recent rumours circulating on social media regarding Linus Ullmark and the rest of the team.

The Ottawa Senators are currently on a mini road trip that saw them play the Utah Mammoth last night and has them visiting the Colorado Avalanche later today.
While the focus should be on stopping Nathan MacKinnon and company, the Senators have bigger fish to fry thanks to rumours circulating on social media regarding some of their players and families.
Goaltender Linus Ullmark has been away from the team due to personal reasons and was just designated a non-roster status, which helped the Senators activate forward Lars Eller before tonight's game. Ullmark hasn't been with the club since the end of December when he was granted a leave of absence.
However, earlier today, there were rumours circulating about infidelity amongst some of the players in the Senators locker room that painted certain people in a very negative way. The club was quick to send out a statement about how disappointed they were in hearing some of things being said and stand behind their players, including Ullmark.
Senators general manager and president of hockey operations, Steve Staios, is aware of the things that are being said about their players and families and is hoping that people respect their privacy and stay away from "ridiculous speculation that has spread online".
Specifically geared towards Ullmark, Staios reiterates that he's away from the team due to personal reasons and that the organization is in full support of the Swedish netminder.
